Faculty, Staff, Parents, Students, Volunteers, and others associated with Sea Pines Montessori Academy,
SPMA has formed a Technology Committee to assess needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions related to all aspects of technology within SPMA. The committee currently includes two parents with technology backgrounds, Margo Fletcher, Carla Golden, and Darcie Patrick. We hope to expand the committee to gain additional representation from the staff, faculty, parents, and students. The initial scope of the committee will include the school’s administrative computers, classroom computers, network(s), website, smart-boards, etc.
We are conducting this brief survey to help guide our initial planning and actions. The survey includes an assessment of users, including parents, faculty, staff, volunteers, and students, to get some idea of their level of comfort with computer technology. The survey also provides an opportunity for you to provide some initial suggestions and requests for the committee to consider. This is certainly not a scientific survey. We are just looking for some general information to guide our initial priorities.
Parents can either complete one survey for both parents, or one survey for each parent, step-parent, grandparent, guardian, etc. – anyone that has an interest in the technology being employed, or technology that should be employed, at SPMA. Students can also complete the survey and are encouraged to do so.
Lastly, the surveys can be anonymous, or you can provide your name and contact information, e.g. if you want to contribute to this initiative in any way. The more survey forms we collect, the better the committee will be able to assess and prioritize the technology needs of the SPMA community.
Thank you!
